Parking

Onsite

As we are located in an inner suburb within the city of Brisbane, onsite parking is limited. Onsite parking during the week is restricted and we are therefore unable to park any cars in the parking lot between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Please refer to the offsite parking guide below for parking suggestions during the business hours. We currently have the capacity to cater for between 50-80 cars onsite at each of our services. We are currently sharing the premises with 4 other business not affiliated with the church, who all have allocated portions of the car park. Please do not park in these marked sections of the carpark as these are allocated to the affiliated business. Please see a member of our staff for more onsite parking information.

Offsite

Our location also means that there is abundant street parking located a short walk from the church auditorium. The map below indicates the location of additional offsite parking. When parking offsite you may wish to check these streets for availability:

Normanby Terrace – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 230m – 2-3 minutes. (accessed via the the Inner City Bypass pedestrian overpass).
Lower Clifton Terrace – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 230m – 2-3 minute walk.
Upper Clifton Terrace – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 280m – 3-4 minute walk.
Westbury Street – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 340m – 4-5 minute walk.
Gona Parade – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 340m – 4-5 minute walk.
Victoria Street – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 430m – 5-6 minute walk.
Rusden Street – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 430m – 5-6 minute walk.
Scout Street – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 500m – 6-7 minute walk.
Woolcock Street – Walking distance to Glory City Church is approximately 550m – 7-8 minute walk.

Public Transport

For those seeking to use public transport Glory City Church is located close to the Normanby Bus Station and within a kilometre of Roma Street train station. For more information and to plan your journey please consult the TransLink website – http://translink.com.au

Dining Out & Recreation

There will be a café open during the conference. The café will offer hot drinks and cold refreshments, as well as light snacks for purchase for the duration of the conference.

If you seek alternative places to eat and drink Kelvin Grove Village is located about a five-minute walk north of the church. The Normanby Hotel is located next door for more formal dining. Brisbane City centre is located approximately 2 km from the church as is the South Bank precinct. These areas are fantastic for shopping and dining and can be accessed on foot, via car or via public transport.
